Hi, Ben here.
I grew up around surfboards. My old man Phil glassed boards shaped by NZ master shaper Wayne Parkes, and my first board was one of Wayne’s.
After an engineering career, a lot of surfing and years experimenting with my own boards, Lightwave grew from shaping boards for myself and friends into what it is today.
I make boards to be surfed — and built to last.
